Covering over 100,000 square meters, our proposal for Kaoshiung Maritime and Pop Music Center is intended to be a smooth layering on the promenade of the Kaoshiung harbor. Instead of becoming "objects", this new layer of event space is a fabric that was smoothly grown from the ground. Furthermore it will blended as an urban space offering daily spaces to the habitants of Kaohsiung. As a design strategy, it is as fabric of sand that formed by waves as the forces. The distorted layer created several potential spaces along the harborfront.
